Cincinnati’s Sauce Gardner Says He’s the Best Player in the 2022 NFL Draft
For the first time in years, the city of Cincinnati may be more focused on where it’s beloved Bearcats are going to be drafted over what the Bengals do with their picks. Of course, that’s only because the Bengals pick 31st rather than in the top 10.
On Sunday night, potential top 5 pick Ahmad “Sauce” Gardner took to Twitter to let the NFL world know one thing – he’s the best player in this draft.
After all, he may not be wrong. Gardner scored more points than he gave up in college, where he played defense. With every tool needed to become one of the league’s top corners quickly, it’s a foregone conclusion that he’ll be among the top selections. Gardner likely will not be staying in Cincinnati in orange and black.
He’s not the only Bearcat expected to be taken in April’s draft. QB Desmond Ridder, LB Darrian Beavers, WR Alec Pierce, DE Myjai Sanders, CB Coby Bryant and S Bryan Cook are all looking at a payday this summer.
